Sodium Alginate Food Gradeis a natural polysaccharide extracted from brown seaweed, has numerous functionalities in the food industry, such as a thickening agent, stabilizer, emulsifier, texture improver, anti-retrogradation of starch, and gel agent, due to its special chemical construction and excellent properties. Alginate can be widely applied as a natural additive in various kinds of food, such as wheat flour, noodles, frozen flour products, bakery, etc.
Function
1. In the food industry, as a gelatinizing agent, thickener,deflocculant used in health food such as ice cream, beverage, form food, meat product, jam, etc.
2. In daily industry: used as a peel mask, thickening stabilizing agent for cosmetics.
3. In the fodder industry: used as fodder bonding agent, pet food bonding agent, etc.
Application

1. Textile-grade sodium alginate is mainly applied in reactive dyes and disperses the dyes printing process. It is used in roller printing, and flat and rotary screen printing for cotton, flannel, and canvas.
